High strength alkali resistant castable
High strength alkali resistant castable is also called high strength alkali resistant refractory concrete, it is made from high strength refractory aggregate and power(corundum, magnesia, spinel, etc),binders and additives. Generally speaking, the strength of castable is decided by the high temperature strength of the binders. To make high strength alkali resistant castable, low melting point eutectic content introduced by binders should be strictly controlled. Therefore, high purity calcium aluminate and micro powders such as soot silicon, active Al2O3 should be used as binders. High strength alkali resistant castable usually adopts fused spinel, chrome corundum, alumina chrome cinder, sintered or fused zirconia corundum and zircon as aggregate and powder material.

High Strength Alkali Resistant Castable Applications
High strength Alkali resistant castable is mainly used at places where not only has severe alkali metal oxides corrosion and their vapor corrosion, but also ha large load. The application fields are cement rotary kiln end, cyclone outside kiln decomposition separator inner lining, roasting alumina rotary kiln end inner lining. High strength alkali proof castable is also used in steel industry, nonferrous metals industry, glass industry, paper industry and so on, for example, industrial furnaces where alkaline vapor corrosion exist, and the working lining of flues and chimneys.
