The application temperature of low cement and very low cement castables is higher than that of general refractory castables of the same material. Clay and high alumina low cement castables can be used to line various heating furnace machinery such as heat treatment furnaces and soaking furnaces. Mullite-based low-cement castables can be used for linings of various high-temperature burners, lining linings of water-cooled radiating pipes of heat treatment furnaces, etc. Corundum and chromium-containing corundum low-cement refractory castables can be used for the lining of some components of the refining equipment outside the molten steel furnace, such as the lining of the general spray gun for the spouting metallurgical industry, the lining of the immersion tube of the RH or DH vacuum pump degassing device, It can also be used as the lining of direct current induction heating furnace, the high temperature and abrasion resistant lining of the catalytic cracking tubular reactor of petrochemical equipment, etc.
 
Al2O3-SiC-C low-cement castables can be used as linings for iron-making blast furnace tapping troughs, iron-making furnaces tapping troughs, and overall powder spray guns for hot metal preparation; MgO-Al2O3 quality or Al2O3-MgO·Al2O3 High-quality low-cement castables can be used as linings for steel drums and tapping troughs.
