Magnesite Brick
Magnesite brick is the general name of refractory bricks which’s main composition is MgO, and main crystalline phase is periclase. Most often used magesite bricks are ordinary magnesia brick, direct bonded magnesia brick, magnesia silica brick, magnesia chrome brick, forsterite brick , magnesia alumina brick, magnesia calcia brick, etc. according to MgO content, mangesite bricks are classified into 3 grades: 90, 95 and 98, corresponding min. MgO content is 86%, 91% and 96%, respectively. According to production processes, magnesite bricks are classified into burned magnesite brick, unburned magnesite brick and rebonded magnesite brick.
Ordinary Magnesite Brick
Ordinary magnesia brick adopts calcined magnesite as raw material, and is sintered at high temperature. Ordinary magnesite brick is silicate direct bonded magnesite refractory, containing about 91% of MgO. It is the most widely used magnesite products with the largest output.

Ordinary Magnesite Bricks Applications
Magnesite brick features in high refractoriness, strong basic slag corrosion resistance, high mechanical strength and so on. Therefore, magnesia bricks are widely used in steel industry smelting furnace lining, iron alloy furnace lining and metal mixer lining. Magnesite bricks are also widely used in nonferrous metals industry smelting furnaces, such as copper smelting furnace lining, lead smelting furnace lining, tin smelting furnace lining, zinc smelting furnace lining, etc. Other applications of magnesia bricks are lime kiln, glass kiln regenerator checkerwork, civil heat exchanger, high temperature calcining kiln( magnesite calcining high temperature shaft kiln, alkaline firebrick sintering high temperature tunnel kiln), etc.
