  JM series of mullite poly light insulation bricks include four grades: firebrick JM23, firebrick J26, JM30, and k-28 insulating firebrick. This series of products use mullite (3Al2O3·2SiO2) as the main crystal phase of high alumina refractory materials. Generally, the alumina content is between 65% and 75%. In addition to mullite, the mineral composition contains a small amount of glass phase and cristobalite with the lower alumina content; the higher alumina content also contains a small amount of corundum.
 
 JM refers to the grade of mullite bricks, and JM mullite bricks are lightweight insulation bricks. Lightweight mullite bricks are light in quality and have good thermal insulation effects. They are high-purity refractory powders. According to the specific gravity of the product, organic composite fillers are added, vacuum extrusion molding, and high-temperature sintering to synthesize lightweight mullite products.

 JM insulation bricks are made of imported tabular corundum and high-purity fused corundum as the main raw materials, using advanced superfine powder adding technology, mixing, drying, forming, and firing in a high-temperature shuttle kiln. JM insulation bricks are widely used in equipment such as slag gasification furnaces, second-stage conversion furnaces for synthetic ammonia, carbon black reaction furnaces and refractory kilns.

There are two types of lightweight mullite bricks: sintered mullite bricks and fused mullite bricks.
 
  Sintered mullite bricks are made of high-alumina bauxite clinker as the main raw material, adding a small amount of clay or raw bauxite as a binder, and forming and firing. Fused mullite bricks use high alumina, industrial alumina and refractory clay as raw materials, add charcoal or coke fine particles as reducing agents, and are manufactured by reduction fusion method after molding.
 
The crystal of fused mullite is larger than that of sintered mullite, and its thermal shock resistance is better than that of sintered products. Their high temperature performance mainly depends on the content of alumina and the uniformity of mullite phase and glass distribution. Mainly used for hot blast stove top, blast furnace body and bottom, regenerator of glass melting furnace, ceramic sintering kiln, dead corner furnace lining of petroleum cracking system, etc.。
