  Lightweight heat-insulating refractory mud has large porosity and strong water absorption. Mobility is relatively poor. In general, light refractory mud is processed into powder with light materials, and then added with a certain proportion of binders. The powder of lightweight refractory clay is made of soft clay, which is more conducive to bonding construction.
 
  In fact, ordinary light clay bricks can be built with clay fire mud, because if the body density of light clay mud is too low, the ash joints will not be full. Dry too fast when spreading. Lightweight silica bricks with mud should use siliceous light refractory mud, because silica bricks are acidic, and with other joint materials, the materials do not belong to the same category, which will affect the service life.
 
 
   The siliceous light refractory mud also has a large amount of water absorption when it is used. In this case, attention should be paid to the construction. First, mix with half of the water for a few minutes, and then add the remaining water for mixing. The total time should not be less than 20 minutes, the mixed mud should stand for 30-50 minutes before use. This avoids the situation of adding water and rubbing too much.
 
   If it is a lightweight high-alumina brick, the lightweight refractory mud used should be processed into powder with lightweight materials, and then add lightweight composite lightweight clay powder, bentonite and other lightweight materials, and then add binder and external It is used in conjunction with lightweight high-alumina bricks during construction.
 
  If it is a light mullite brick, it should be processed into powder according to the same material, and then add light powder such as Guangdong mud and Suzhou mud, and then add a composite binder, so that the adhesion is stronger.
 
 In short, no matter what kind of lightweight heat-insulating refractory mud, it depends on the material of the main refractory brick to be matched. In this way, the adhesion is strong, the use atmosphere is consistent, and the service life will be longer.
