Special Phosphate Bricks Description
Special phosphate bricks are high grade working lining refractory for cement kilns and lime kilns. Special phosphate bricks are phosphate bonded high alumina bricks. Phosphoric acid solution with a concentration of 42.5% ~ 50% is used as binder during producing special phosphate bricks. Specific phosphate brick has good chemical stability, high thermal strength and good wear resistance. The main application fields of special phosphate bricks are machine shaft kiln expansion part, high temperature zone kiln lining, rotary cement kiln cooling zone and transition zone.
Special phosphate brick is developed and produced in recent years. bauxite clinker calcined above 1600 °C in rotary kiln is used as main raw material of special phosphate brick. During the application of the special phosphate brick, the phosphoric acid and the calcined bauxite fine powder react with the refractory clay to form a bond mainly composed of cristobalite-type orthophosphate.
Special Phosphate Bricks Advantages
Special phosphate brick has the advantages of ordinary phosphate brick: high cold crushing strength, good wear resistance, higher refractoriness under load temperature than anti-spalling high alumina brick, and good thermal shock stability.
For transition zone with large temperature fluctuation, special phosphate bricks have obvious advantages: large high temperature strength, strong thermal stress and mechanical stress resistance, excellent adaptation to cylinder body ellipticity changes at wheel belt parts.
Special phosphate brick belongs to neutral refractory bricks, it has good acid corrosion and alkali corrosion resistance. so specific phosphate brick is a good choice for rotary cement transition zone, where lining coating should be frequently repaired.
