High Alumina Brick for Blast Furnace Application
High alumina brick is built in the furnace part of the blast furnace. The furnace body is in the upper part of the blast furnace, and its diameter is gradually expanded from top to bottom to adapt to the thermal expansion of the furnace material and reduce the friction of the furnace wall against the charge. Why Choose High Alumina Brick Use in Blast Furnace
(1) The content of ferric oxide (Fe2O3) is low, mainly to limit the deposition of carbon black and prevent it from reducing the refractoriness due to the formation of low melting point refractory materials with SiO2.
(2) The content of A12O3 should be high to ensure a high degree of refractoriness, so that the brick works well under high temperature.
