High Alumina Bricks Introduction
 
A neutral refractories with an alumina content of more than 48% are formed and calcined from bauxite or other material with high alumina content.High thermal stability , refractoriness above 1790 degrees Celsius. Good resistance to slag, used for the steel ladle of the working layer. High alumina bricks are neutral refractories ,which have strong resistance to acidic and alkaline slag ,high refractoriness and high-temperature mechanical strength,are mainly used for the bottom of the soaking furnace ,the lower furnace wall, continuous heating furnace wall,ceiling,hearth, burner brick. The refractoriness of alumina fire bricks is higher than of clay bricks and semi-silica bricks,which is as high as high 1750℃~1790℃,which is an advanced refractory material.

Due to the high Al2O3 content in high alumina products and the low amount of impurities,the formation of friable glass bodies is less,so the load softening temperature is higher than the clay bricks.

High alumina refractory bricks of the working layer contains high content Al2O3 and close to the neutral refractories, which can resist the erosion of acidic slag and alkaline slag ,because refractory bricks contains SiO2,the ability of resistance to alkaline slag is weaker than the ability to resistance to alkaline slag is weaker than the ability to resist acidic slag.
