Light Acid Resistant Castable Application
Light acid resistant castables are mainly used for anti corrosion flue and chimney lining, acid storage tank, pickling tank lining, nitric acid concentration tower lining, acid recovery furnace lining and other container linings corroded by acidic high temperature gas.
How to Use Light Acid Resistant Castable
1. Acid resistant castables should not be used alone in particularly humid environments. Because refractory castable itself has excellent fire resistance but its poor penetration resistance, it is not suitable for use in humid environments. If it is necessary to use it, it is necessary to lay a layer of waterproof material before use.
2. It is best not to use it as a separate refractory material. Acid resistant castables have excellent fire resistance, but they are likely to break the bond of acid resistant castables when used directly in high temperature environments because of their own characteristics. Therefore, there should be a layer of insulating felt when used as refractory material.
